iPhone 3G's Worldwide Grand Deployment

Well today marks the Apple iPhone's 3G worldwide release. Line ups curled around street corners as everyone wanted to get their hands on this innovative device. Is it overrated? Will it outsell Blackberrys over the next few quarters? These are all questions the tech. community is pondering over.

It boasts 3G wireless capabilities, meaning it is quick to connect to the internet virtually anywhere...with this comes charges equating ~$70/month, not to mention the cost of the iPhone initially, ~$400+ depending on the market.

I was recently browsing service providers' website and noticed an Apple iPhone-esque phone, known as the Samsung Instinct. Will this phone take a chunk out of the iPhone, even before the iPhone reaches its growth stage?

Only time will tell..
